Her career as a art director as well as production designer in film and tv began in the early
1980's, while she was still a student at the Scuola Arti Ornamentali in Rome.
The first film that she designed Ettore Scola's La Famiglia (1986) garnered
considerable acclaim from industry professionals.
One of her most important film projects was Ron Howard's Angels and Demons (2008)
When working on theatre productions, she usually partners up whith other
designers, such as Mauro Carosi and Luciano Ricceri.
She won a La Movie prize for her design work on Paolo Licata's short film
The Novel (2011)
